As a
Sales Inventory Coordinator , your more typical responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
Track daily equipment inventory moves in dealer operating system.
Ensure inventory information is correct in dealer operating system.
Handle sales of Commercial Work Products
Assist walk-in and phone sales and pass off to a field representative as needed
Quote rental rates to customers and salespeople
Quote machine and attachment prices to customers and salespeople
Inspect machines prior to leaving/upon arrival to the yard on rent, demo, etc.
Line up hauling for machines to and from jobsites and ensure correct invoices of services
Assist salespeople in finding equipment to suit their customer’s needs
Collaborate with other inventory coordinators to ensure availability of machines
Move old/used inventory with other inventory coordinators
Ensure rentals are billed out correctly
Keep equipment and attachments in stock, organized, and the yard clean
Negotiate with vendors and order attachments for equipment as needed
Receipt in new and used equipment
Requirements
Knowledge of standard computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to maneuver the internet.
Capable of quickly learning dealer-specific desktop applications
Ability to see the “big picture” as it relates to the company as a whole rather than a location-specific rationale.
Exceptional attitude
Ability to talk to, work with, and listen to a diverse group of people.
College education a plus but not mandatory
Experience in the rental industry and with machine costing preferred but not mandatory
Ability to multitask while maintaining a professional calm demeanor
