Van Driver
National Express LTD is hiring for a Van Driver position. Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $23.00/hr.
Job Details
Position: Van/Minibus Driver.
Hiring Immediately – No experience required. Training provided.
Starting Pay Rate: $23/hr.
Sign‑On Bonus: $500 (must have a US license for 2 consecutive years).
Walk‑in Interviews: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 9am‑1:30pm. Bring a friend.
Location: 127 Pine Rd, Brentwood, NH.
Responsibilities
Provides safe and reliable transportation service by operating a student or passenger vehicle with fixed or changing route.
Exhibits highest ethical standards, shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with supervisor.
Reports to duty on time and maintains timely route while ensuring safety.
Physically assists passengers in evacuation during emergency.
Immediately reports any accident or incident per Company policy.
Follows Company Policy on student/passenger management.
Informs appropriate personnel of problems/procedures.
Presents neat and professional personal appearance at all times.
Completes required paperwork (route sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) and submits timely.
Maintains cooperative attitude with employees, supervisors, customers, passengers & promotes goodwill.
Uses vehicle equipment safely and efficiently (wheelchair lifts, radios, emergency equipment).
Other duties as assigned.
Additional responsibilities for Paratransit Drivers per location.
Qualifications
At least 21 years old (25+ for Tennessee School Bus Drivers per state law).
Possess or obtain all valid state license and required certifications.
Meet physical and medical requirements, pass substance abuse screening.
Successfully complete all training.
Practice defensive driving and avoid accidents.
Compliance with all applicable federal, state, county, district and contract‑specific driver requirements.
