All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. Overview
The Restaurant Room Manager administers the daily operation of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet, ensuring upscale standards and guest satisfaction in alignment with property plans and company policies. Responsibilities
Implement and maintain upscale standards upon approval of division management. Train all restaurant staff to perform their duties per departmental and company standards; monitor performance to ensure standards are met or exceeded. Evaluate, provide feedback and direct Shift Managers and all restaurant staff. Ensure products meet established specifications and standards. Manage a budget to achieve fiscal and performance goals and recommend changes to enhance profitability. Maintain weekly and seasonal offerings based on trends, creativity and guest feedback. Stay informed of new or revised F&B concepts in line with property plans. Provide disciplinary action when needed. Facilitate weekly management meetings; attend property management meetings. Maintain control of the restaurant operations, including guest greeting/seating, resolving service failures, handling guest complaints per five-star standards, addressing employee issues, and informing Division Management of pertinent issues. Report incidents to appropriate management. Ensure prompt, professional service to all guests; obtain guest feedback. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, filing, personnel maintenance and HR issues. Advise the Director of Food & Beverage of daily concerns and utilize resources to maximize profits. Complete daily reports (Daily Manager Report and Incident Reports) and prepare necessary paperwork, ordering or supplies for efficient operations. Communicate with associates about Casino activities and events; ensure staff appearance and behavior meet standards at all times. Share accountability for achieving cost goals, labor and expenses; evaluate staff performance on 90-day and annual cycles. Maintain current understanding of policy and guidelines regarding information security; comply with all information security policies. Provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner; maintain a respectful work environment. Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine months from start date; attend necessary meetings. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations may change; work hours follow a 24-hour schedule. Qualifications/Requirements
Demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility toward customers and employees. Ability to instill pride and personal responsibility in subordinates. Education/Experience
Must be 18 years of age or older; high school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum six (6) years in Food & Beverage; three (3) years supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant required. Minimum one (1) year experience as a general manager of a dining restaurant. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, coaching, team-building and problem-solving skills. General knowledge of all phases of full-service dining and F&B service procedures. Ability to understand budget and hold units accountable to meet it. Understanding of labor and productivity standards (covers per hour). Ability to evaluate statistical reports and business reports. Computer literate with broad knowledge of Microsoft Office and restaurant systems; financial/management experience with computers or calculators. Decision-making ability, customer interaction skills, and effective problem-solving; public speaking and clear communication. Language Skills and Reasoning Ability
Excellent communication skills; ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers. Ability to resolve problems/conflicts diplomatically and tactfully. Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Salary starting rate: $55,612.00 Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education. Note: Each position has varying minimum qualifications; in the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
