General Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of an environmental engineering project to ensure its safe completion on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsible for completing the project as per its contracted scope; monitor progress and performance against the project plan. Troubleshoot operational problems, recommend or resolve issues, and minimize delays. May oversee resource management, project scheduling, budgets, forecasts, and coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors, or contractors. Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate project status to the team and client. Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet targets and milestones. Communicate with the client to ensure satisfaction. Coordinate efforts with APR for engagement throughout the project, especially at critical junctures. Handle invoice approvals, change orders, and collections.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of small to medium-sized projects.

Collaborate with clients or NAM to define project scope, schedule, and budget.

Design, communicate, and implement project plans.

Lead safety efforts, including preparation and compliance with safety plans.

Resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

Identify, develop, and gather resources, including calculations, designs, reports, work specifications, schedules, budgets, and external contractors.

Partner with other departments to secure specialized resources.

Conduct meetings and prepare reports on project status.

Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate staff to meet goals.

Coordinate with APR for oversight and reviews.

Coordinate with accounting for financial management, invoicing, and collections.

Develop awareness of project risks and understand company risk policies.

Lead safety initiatives and promote a safe work environment.

Monitor and promote quality standards and practices.

Ensure consistent quality in project and proposal delivery, engaging APRs early on.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' related experience; or a minimum of 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.

Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Preferred Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).

Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or similar relevant certification.
