Overview
Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) is seeking a Behavior Specialist. This is a part-time, entry-level opportunity with flexible scheduling and training provided. Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $27.00/hr. Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled sessions and deliver services unless time-off is granted or the client’s family has indicated otherwise to the clinical team. Provide subbing sessions to maintain productivity when a session is cancelled, primarily on Saturdays and within the employee\'s availability. Accept additional hours or sessions as assigned by Regional leadership within the employee\'s availability. Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans per direction from the Clinical Director and clinical leadership to improve behavior and skill acquisition for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Travel to Center, home, and other community settings to deliver services. Deliver subbing sessions primarily at regional centers. Complete sessions daily and write thorough notes. Communicate schedule changes and cancellations to the clinical team promptly. Participate in regular meetings and communicate with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors regarding Treatment Plans, family concerns, and questions. Complete required clinical documentation and data collection (Daily Treatment Session Notes, Daily Treatment Target Data, and, if applicable, Daily Behavior Data). Stay updated with site documents and current clinical reports for each child served. Keep current with research, trends, and developments in related fields. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other requested meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
You enjoy working with children and making a difference. H.S. Diploma or GED. Flexible availability (typically Monday through Thursday 3-8 pm and Saturday). Complete new hire training online and in person. Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID – as required by California). Reliable transportation. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Good judgment and discretion; ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures.
