Safety Management Group . Our client is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day field operation safety processes. This role is vital in ensuring the safety of employees, subcontractors, and the safe completion of all construction projects. The Safety Manager will implement safety policies, oversee training, conduct site audits, and act as the primary point of contact for safety compliance both internally and with external agencies. Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and procedures in compliance with OSHA and industry standards. Represent the company in safety-related meetings with government agencies and clients. Provide training to Superintendents and employees (OSHA, First Aid, NFPA 70E, equipment safety, etc.). Conduct regular site visits, safety audits, and incident investigations. Maintain OSHA logs, safety documentation, and compliance records. Organize and lead monthly safety meetings and annual trainings. Collaborate with leadership, Superintendents, and subcontractors to uphold a strong safety culture. Regular travel to job sites for audits and inspections. Must be able to travel overnight when needed. Requirements

Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and federal, state, and local safety regulations. Proven ability to build trust and relationships across teams and with external partners. Excellent communication and training skills. Strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field (preferred). 3–5 years of occupational health and safety experience in construction or industrial environments. Construction experience is preferred. OSHA 30-hour Construction accreditation required OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer preferred. BCSP Certification preferred: CSP, CHST Training in hazardous energy control, fall prevention, trenching/excavating, and hazardous waste. Physical Demands

Physical demands may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, manual dexterity for typing and repetitive tasks, ability to speak clearly on the phone or in person, moving about job sites, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in extreme weather while wearing personal protective equipment.
