What Our Entry-Level Irrigation Technicians Do: This is a learning role- we’d like to teach you the industry and set you up for a career! Entry-Level Service Technicians will spend time with both our installation crews and our service technicians. Position tasks may include: Digging- Creating trenches for piping, digging holes for sprinkler heads, clearing space for valve boxes, and alleviating root squeezes using spade and/or pick. Irrigation Installation- Making connections, adjusting sprinkler heads/nozzles, laying out drip line, setting controllers, creating zone maps. Irrigation Repairs- Replacing broken sprinkler heads/nozzles, repairing pipe leaks, adding/removing/moving lines, reprogramming controllers. We’re looking for friendly, fun individuals who are comfortable working cooperatively on a team. This is an outdoor position- we work rain or shine in all temperatures. Get ready to get dirty! Requirements: Daytime availability, Monday through Friday. Saturday overtime may be available during Spring and Summer. Willingness to learn industry of irrigation with interest in long-term career.
