SALARY RANGE: $17.00-$18.00 per hour. Tennis attendant assists the Director of Tennis and tennis pros with all related tennis activities.
Essential Functions
Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort. Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag. Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives. Perform other duties as requested by management. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Maintain tennis facilities in a professional manner. Respond to inquiries about tennis services offered. Instructs tennis clinics/lessons as scheduled. Assist logistics and promotion of leagues, round robins, drop-in, ladders, tournaments and seasonal events. Assist the Director of Tennis promote tennis clinics, private lessons, adult, junior and senior programs. Abide by all resort policies and safety rules. Perform other duties as requested by management. Qualifications
Prior experience at tennis facility is preferred. Private country club experience preferred. Working Conditions and Schedule
Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed. Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with varying temperatures, including temperatures above 100° F. Physical exertion (jogging, running, bending, twisting).
