Job Summary
SOUS CHEF (FULL TIME)

Hannibal – LaGrange University – 2800 Palmyra Road, Hannibal, MO 63401. Full‑time schedule; days, evenings, and some weekends may vary. Online applications only. Compensation
$16.00 to $20.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cook and prepare food following approved recipes, production standards, and daily menu items. Supervise hourly food‑service associates; conduct interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as appropriate. Store food in designated areas and maintain proper sanitation, portion control, and temperature compliance. Clean workstation thoroughly; keep display equipment clean, free of debris, and compliant with all safety and merchandising requirements. Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner; relay relevant information to supervisor. Maintain inventory and deliveries; track product production, consumption, and waste; notify supervisor when supplies are low. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Previous sous chef or equivalent experience. ServeSafe certification. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Benefits
