The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online GMAT tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Compensation and Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for repeated sessions with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and accept as many sessions as you’d like. Remote tutoring via our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we take care of payments. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and enhance teaching. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style. Expertise in GMAT with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Preference given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students
