Overview
Novant Health is seeking an experienced Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider for a nocturnal, inpatient-only position within a collaborative Critical Care team with a strong focus on Cardiovascular care. Opportunity Highlights
Our new critical care surgical tower will operate under a closed unit / co-management structure, boasting 59 new beds, contributing to a total of over 100 critical care beds within the hospital and natural rotation through various critical care units such as the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Work alongside an experienced team of onsite Critical Care physicians, with additional support from remote Tele-Intensivists to ensure continuous collaboration and high-quality patient care. Using evidence-based processes through a multidisciplinary approach. Candidate Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA-accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master’s NP program required. Acute Care certification required for NPs. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in the appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry required. Responsibilities & Duties
Schedule: 7 days on followed by 7 days off, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Perform procedures as needed: intubation, central lines, arterial lines. Consult/round with focused responsibilities to include cardiovascular/critical care patients. Benefits & Perks
