Wage Range:
$46.25 - $77.19 per hour Bonus:
Up to $15,000.00 bonus for experienced CT Technologists with at least one year of experience and new employees of EvergreenHealth. Up to $5,000.00 bonus for CT Technologists with less than one year of experience and new employees of EvergreenHealth. Bonuses are pro-rated by FTE. Posted wage ranges reflect the entire range from minimum to maximum. Additional premiums may be offered based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on relevant experience, education level, and internal equity. Job Summary:
Responsible for applying prescribed ionizing radiation in performing CT procedures at a technical level for diagnostic purposes under a physician's prescription. Primary Duties: Performs complex CT scans, including injecting contrast under radiologist supervision. Sets, adjusts, and controls CT scanner equipment to apply ionizing radiation, ensuring high-quality images. Analyzes patient's size, condition, and age to perform accurate CT examinations. Communicates with patients throughout the procedure, maintaining their confidence and respecting privacy. Handles calls and inquiries, greets patients, obtains history, starts IVs, and prepares patients. Obtains lab work and patient information from Cerner. Schedules exams and updates patient status accordingly. Performs other duties as assigned. License, Certification, Education or Experience (REQUIRED): ARRT certification or registry eligible, with registry to be completed within 45 days. Current Healthcare Provider BLS from the American Heart Association. Training specific to CT scanner operation. Current WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure. Registered in CT Technology with ARRT within one year of employment or by January 1, 2019, if hired before December 31, 2017. Desired:
