$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS . KidsStreet Urgent Care is growing, and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Advanced Practice Provider to join our team full time. You will provide patient-focused care to help our patients feel better FAST. Services provided include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. This is an opportunity for APPs early in their career, including brand new grads (even if you haven’t taken boards yet!).
Following on-site HQ orientation and training, you will have several training shifts with existing providers in one of our clinics. Support includes pediatric urgent care CE courses and an NP/PA on-call help to assist with clinical decision making as you grow into the role.
Responsibilities
Care for every patient within your scope of practice; treat patients to the extent possible and appropriate. Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues; minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.); suturing; splinting. General orthopedic evaluations/management; review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist); dermatology concerns; general eye problems; general EKG interpretations; emergency management skills; general GYN expertise. Treat patients across all ages (babies, children, adults, geriatric); occupational medicine; telemedicine. Lead a small team of medical assistants; utilize treatment protocols to guide decision-making; act as a professional role model for the team.
Schedule
Hours: Open 7 days per week with extended hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Rotating schedule that includes every other weekend; sample: Week 1: Mon (ON), Tue (ON), Wed (OFF), Thu (OFF), Fri (ON), Sat (ON), Sun (ON). Week 2: Mon (OFF), Tue (OFF), Wed (ON), Thu (ON), Fri (OFF), Sat (OFF), Sun (OFF).
Qualifications
Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification or Physician Assistant certification required MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly) DOT certification or willingness to obtain (cost covered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred
