Youth Academy High School Tutor - Chemistry . We are committed to supporting student success in a multicultural environment, meeting diverse educational needs. The successful candidate will be dedicated to teaching in a multicultural setting and will have the opportunity to teach during days, evenings, and weekends. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct faculty are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, which may include face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. They are also responsible for student evaluation and timely submission of required paperwork. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the subject matter. Minimum two years’ experience teaching high school students preferred. Illinois Professional Educator license is preferred. Sessions are conducted in-person at campuses in Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Carol Stream, or Westmont. Scheduling is flexible and based on instructor and student availability. Online sessions are possible but in-person teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology and a home computer capable of responding to emails promptly is required. The position pays $33.99 per hour and is stipend-based. Ability to teach remotely using technology and experience in online teaching is preferred. A pre-employment background check will be conducted at the college's expense.
