Research Associate – Histology / In Vivo
We’re partnering with a biotechnology company pioneering the discovery of novel therapeutic targets through advanced computational and experimental biology. Their interdisciplinary team integrates cutting-edge data science, molecular biology, and in vivo research to accelerate the development of transformative medicines. This opportunity is offered on an initial 12 month contracting basis. Hourly rate: $40-50/hr The contractor will support ongoing in vivo and histology studies, contributing to the processing, analysis, and interpretation of tissue samples for research programs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about applying histological and in vivo techniques in a fast‑paced, collaborative research environment.
Responsibilities
Process tissue samples and evaluate histological endpoints for ongoing studies
Establish and refine histology protocols as needed
Maintain high standards of quality control and data reproducibility
Accurately document methodologies, raw data, and experimental outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2+ years of biotech research experience
Proficiency in histology techniques (sectioning, staining, imaging)
Basic in vivo handling experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Collaborative mindset and attention to detail
