Housekeeping Utility Worker (Heavy Trash)
Join Erickson Senior Living as a Housekeeping Utility Worker, responsible for cleaning building areas, floors, surfaces, arranging rooms for events, and removing trash. No travel required.
Location Eagle’s Trace by Erickson Senior Living, a 70‑acre continuing care retirement community in West Houston, Texas.
Compensation Commencing at $14.25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule
Sunday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

How You Will Make An Impact
Maintain cleanliness of the community through operation of specialized equipment.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste.
Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups.
Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages.
Remove trash, including refuse and recycling.
Maintain hard‑floor surfaces – scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, waxing; maintain carpeted surfaces – extraction, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, vacuuming.
What You Will Need
Previous experience in carpet care and floor‑finishing techniques (preferred).
Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community.
Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment (history of safe driving noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is required).
