In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadershipMonday-Friday, primarily daysAn exciting opportunity to join the GI nursing leadership team in an outpatient endoscopy suite at Sawgrass ASC. The successful candidate will assist the Nurse Manager with maintaining day-to-day operations, as well as providing direct patient care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities include assistance with operational oversight, staffing, problem solving, delivery of clinical care, assuring adherence to regulatory requirements, interpretation of policy and modeling of customer service skills.
The candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
A minimum of 5 years RN experience required, with GI experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred.
Must have an active NYS RN license, BSN or matriculation in a BSN program.
