Lecturer, U.S. History. The Department of History and Political Science at Utah Valley University invites applications for a one-year lectureship in U.S. History beginning 20 August 2025. Teaching load is 5/5. Ph.D. in U.S. History preferred but candidates with a master’s degree and some doctoral work (preferably ABD) will be considered. The successful candidates will teach lower-division survey classes in U.S. history and possibly lower division courses in U.S. economic history. Experience teaching at the college or university level is preferred. Daytime, in-person teaching required, though some teaching may take place on-line depending on the applicants’ experience. Utah residency is required by the time of appointment.
