Overview

The Recovery Specialist Supervisor (Women's Program) at Veterans Inc. is a leadership role responsible for the day-to-day oversight and supervision of the Recovery Specialists, provides supervision and capacity building, and ensures supervision during times when the Clinical and Program Managers are not on-site. The candidate must have strong leadership and team-building skills, management experience, substantial clinical experience in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, a dependable work ethic, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Responsibilities

Assist with leading a multidisciplinary team to provide clients with necessary program information, conduct screenings and assessments, and assist with developing their treatment plans and goals. Assist with performing intakes, evaluation, orientation, treatment planning, documentation, discharge planning and referral of mental health and addiction clients. Develops and documents individualized treatment plans that address the needs client population. Responsible for assisting management with maintaining staffing 24/7, to assure client safety and adherence to state licensing requirements. Maintains a strict policy and practice of non-abandonment of client care, and acts as the final line of coverage in the event of unavailability of replacement staff. Responsible for coordinating with management and HR regarding disciplinary measures, employee relations and employee training and development. Collaborates with HR to coordinate training for staff as needed to support program needs, and assists Clinical Manager with providing education regarding psychotherapeutic techniques and evidence based treatment practices. Assists with maintaining a patient engagement initiative, including outreach to de-stigmatize the utilization of counseling services, works to enhance the "Culture of Care," understands how to treat clients with dignity and respect, and has the ability to de-escalate upset clients. Identifies and develops the curriculum and process for psychosocial drug and alcohol support groups focusing on coping mechanisms and understanding the nature of addiction. Increases education, screening, care coordination, risk reduction interventions, and counseling for clients with or at risk of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and other diseases associated with opioid use disorders. Provides required documentation and timely reports (including narratives and data reports) as needed. Maintains and monitors audit-ready client files and documentation as required. Attends and participates in meetings as required. Leads meetings when necessary. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human services field Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with adult mental illness and substance abuse disorder population. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills. Documented experience working with clients with trauma histories. Documented experience working within an inpatient treatment center or human service setting. Experience using electronic medical records preferred. Must be available on some weekends. Must be able to successfully pass a CORI/Background records check. Compliance with Veterans Inc.
