POSITION: Structures Instructor Lockheed program – Part Time Position QUICK LOOK: Under supervision of the Aviation Program Director, this position is responsible for all aspects of instruction in the Lockheed Structures program · The Adjunct instructor will work with the full time Chatt Tech instructor on delivering instructional material in the entry level training program for Lockheed Martin. · Implements instructional delivery that is stimulating, thought provoking and engaging to students in face-to-face, online and lab settings according to Lockheed’s curriculum and teaching methods. · Oversees safety compliance including safe lab practices per EPA regulations and OSHA standards. · Instructors will work with the Aviation Program Director, the Dean and other faculty members and academic leadership to meet department, division and college goals. · Program director will advise students and promote recruitment and retention efforts for the Lockheed Structures Program. NOTE: Adjunct Instructor positions are temporary, part time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited and there is no expectation that your association with Chatt Tech will extend beyond this term. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Aircraft Structural Technology Diploma • OR • Five + years working on aircraft structures in a • manufacturing or MRO environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, but not required • Appropriate Industry Certifications as NC3 or others • Working knowledge and experience with teaching in Structures preferably with Lockheed corporation. • Working knowledge and proven experience in program assessments SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary–$40.00 per hour. There are no State Benefits.
