Summary

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing the pipeline of potential customers and partnering with them to complete their orders and coordinate installation of garage doors, entry doors, security and storm doors, pet doors, awnings, etc. The primary focus for this role will be working on the commercial side of our business. The role requires interaction with customers and a mechanical inclination with strong customer service skills. Duties

Gather necessary information from customers/contractors and provide job estimates. Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets. Generate new leads and follow up with potential leads. Meet with customers onsite to provide product information and project plans. Work with Purchasing to ensure materials are ordered accurately and on time for installation. Clearly communicate with technicians and other team members regarding upcoming and ongoing installation/service jobs. Provide customers/contractors with the appropriate forms and documents to prepare for installation. Act as liaison between customer and contractor as needed. Attend trade shows, networking events, and other company events as needed. Travel through assigned territory to site-check residential/commercial properties. Qualifications

Proven experience in a sales role. Valid driver\'s license and acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with commercial door and access products or similar skilled trade. Basic knowledge of construction, reading blueprints, electrical, and/or hand tools. Skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Teamwork-centric mindset with a collaborative attitude toward achieving department and company goals. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to resolve issues independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Work Conditions

Climate-controlled office environment with continual sitting and use of computer. Exposure to weather and temperature elements while performing jobsite site checks. Compensation

Salary-based training period. Upon completion of training, this position is paid on a salary + commission basis. Benefits
