Overview

Outside Sales - Field Account Manager (Multifamily), Redi Carpet, Jacksonville Fl Exceeds sales and profit targets in a designated territory by implementing sales and marketing programs and establishing both short and long-term sales strategies. Drives growth by securing profitable new accounts through industry research, networking, and proactive prospecting. This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 50% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Responsibilities

Manages sales and customer retention initiatives to enhance overall sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction, while overseeing planning, forecasting, reporting of sales activities and competitive pricing tactics.

Generates a strategic sales call schedule and conducts face-to-face customer visits to identify opportunities and increase sales revenue through the promotion of value-added solutions, handling objections effectively.

Identifies, develops, and maintains a pipeline of qualified accounts to meet or exceed sales and margin plans using a designated CRM tool.

Focuses on new account opportunities using cold call strategies to drive territory growth.

Implements approved sales strategies to achieve targeted outcomes and maintains industry-specific product knowledge to serve client accounts.

Utilizes Salesforce reporting and data analysis to identify opportunities within the territory for sales and revenue growth.

Reviews customer portfolio to identify and improve underperforming accounts.

Collaborates with inside sales to support business growth and development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

Business-to-Business sales experience with techniques such as Consultative or Solution Based Selling.

Proficiency with Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
