Job Overview The ideal candidate will oversee the inside sales team and manage customer accounts in the forging industry. This role will work closely with production, supply chain, and engineering to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time. They will also support driving sales growth, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments to meet client needs.
Core Requirements
5+ years of experience in inside sales
2+ years in a leadership role in forging, manufacturing, or a related field
Preferred Requirements
Familiar with the forging industry or supply chain management
Ability to oversee and guide the inside sales team
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring service excellence, order accuracy, and timely delivery.
Partner with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to meet customer requirements from order to delivery.
Oversee quoting, order entry, scheduling, and shipping to ensure alignment between customer needs and company capabilities.
Track performance metrics and prepare sales reports.
Help execute sales strategies and pursue new business opportunities in line with company goals.
Streamline workflows to boost efficiency, shorten lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage and develop the inside sales team through training, support, and performance guidance.
