We seek a Personal Lines Account Associate to join our growing team in Vermont. Responsibilities
Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives according to the agency’s written procedures. Service accounts, including quote and issue policies, ID cards, endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence. Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests in a timely manner. Support and inform coverage plans as necessary. Assist with insurance marketing and sales activities. Collect renewal data on assigned accounts and provide documentation of activities in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC). Review new and renewal policies and endorsements to ensure items were received as ordered. Maintain knowledge of underwriting requirements and policy provisions; stay current with industry trends and license compliance. Coordinate with other departments to secure and issue policies for mutual clients. Keep Producers informed of important activities and flag potential problems for management. Utilize upload, download, and interface technology as needed. Back up duties and other assignments as required. Education and Experience
Active Property & Casualty Producer License or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire date. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and be proactive. Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions with multiple variables. EPIC experience a plus. Benefits and Compensation
Base compensation range: $40,000 - $50,000, with placement based on skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
