This Position Reports To

Sales Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: remote () in Wisconsin (central WI is the ideal living location based on daily territory travel.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

Build strong relationships with electrical contractors and educate them on ABB’s product advantages through technical presentations and product introductions. Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and margin, influence customer specifications, and meet or exceed volume and margin targets. Perform take-offs, create cost-effective proposals, negotiate project orders, and leverage market pricing to close deals. Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence, and track sales activity and performance using Salesforce for hit-rate analysis.

Qualifications For The Role

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college (engineering preferred) or GED with 8+ years sales experience Minimum 5 years sales experience Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling multi-family projects to electrical contractors Strong industry knowledge and leadership experience, with proven skills in customer engagement, technical proposal development, ERP and sales tools, and effective communication across teams and stakeholders preferred Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
