Account Manager – responsible for prospecting new accounts, maintaining existing client relationships, developing sales presentations, managing pricing and payments, and supporting quality assurance and trade show participation. Responsibilities

Align with EMCOR Mesa’s written sales philosophy and established processes. Research prospective clients and projects through contacting Chief Engineers, Property Managers, Asset Managers, and other stakeholders. Make phone calls, visits, attend conferences, utilize the Internet, and leverage existing relationships. Introduct, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients. Work with the Sales Manager and Branch Manager to review and improve account programs and processes. Analyze and create solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability of account clients. Prepare and deliver client presentations. Write and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using standard templates and pricing models. Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share. Communicate professionally with various departments within EMCOR/Mesa such as Operations, chiller teams, project management, and sales teams. Attending product and sales training events and participating in all professional training provided by EMCOR/Mesa. Reach written annual sales plans. Compensation

Salary range $75,000 – $125,000 per year. This role is incentive-eligible. The account manager will be compensated as detailed in Mesa’s posted sales compensation plan. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline. 3+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service or a related field. Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment. Strong customer presentation skills, sales aptitude, and financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals. Independent decision making is required. Strong computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel. Candidate should possess a competitive nature and be articulate. Ideal candidate will be goal oriented, ambitious, and high energy.
