Our client is seeking a
Business Analyst
to support a large-scale healthcare systems modernization initiative. This role will bridge business needs with IT solutions, ensuring integration, efficiency, and alignment with program strategy. Responsibilities
Act as liaison between business teams and IT to deliver technical solutions. Analyze operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and automation opportunities. Support business process redesign, documentation, and performance assessments. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manage change requests. Facilitate communication between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor team members and support knowledge transfer. Lead business design sessions for assigned modules and ensure integration across systems. Track KPIs, provide updates on status/issues, and lead cross-functional meetings. Build strong client relationships and proactively address business needs. Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, healthcare, or related field (or 7+ years equivalent experience). Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business rules/processes. Experience with Medicaid payer system integration/delivery. Familiarity with MITA business architecture principles. Familiarity with standard data structures, EDI processes, and file formats. Preferred Skills
Knowledge of CMS Federal Certification requirements and processes. Experience with MMIS project management or operations. Seniority level
