Controller/Royalty Analyst . This role manages the day-to-day financial operations of an independent music company. What you’ll do: Management of financial transactions and monthly financial reporting in Quickbooks. Monthly bank reconciliations. Preparation and delivery of quarterly artist royalty statements in the Curve royalty system. Preparation and delivery of quarterly artist management commission statements. Revenue Tracking and Processing- Track and summarize master, publishing, artist management, and licensing revenue from various DSP’s, business managers, and other third parties. Revenue processed and summarized in Quickbooks and Curve. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Manage all financial aspects of the PEO system. Manage financial statements of Artist House Cares 501c3 charitable organization Review annual tax returns prepared by outside accountants. Reports to the CFO Who you are: 7-10 years of accounting and finance experience Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel/Google Sheets, and royalty accounting. Experience with the Curve royalty system is preferred.
