$85,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Get the same (if not better) pay as bigger firms without sacrificing your evenings and weekends. You won’t be pulled into 70-hour weeks every busy season because the cap here is 50 hours, with half-day Fridays through the summer to give you some breathing room. You’ll also avoid being boxed into one narrow area of tax. With a varied client base, you’ll build expertise across Federal, SALT, Sales & Use, and Property Tax, making your skill set much more versatile and opening up more career paths down the line. Work life balance Work from home three days a week to fit your life and work around your schedule, not the other way around. Enjoy unlimited paid time off, actual summer Fridays, and the firm being closed on Tax Day so you can take time when it really counts. You’ll also get a team bonus plan, 401(k) with match, and extra paid holidays including a floating holiday and one for Tax Day. What you’ll do You will work on Federal and state returns, tax research, and analysis, building your knowledge of U.S. tax reform and compliance. Alongside this, you will be a key figure in helping associates grow within the business. You will also shadow your manager who will train you to take up tax strategy for your clients. This will give you the chance to shape solutions and deepen your expertise. What you’ll need 4+ years of accounting experience A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field A CPA license is preferred The company This is a mid-tier public accounting firm based in Red Bank, NJ, focused on giving you a full life outside of work.
