The Mortgage Processor/Closer completes all necessary activities to process, prepare legal documents, and facilitate closings for conventional residential mortgage loans in compliance with secondary market guidelines. The Mortgage Processor/Closer is responsible for an average of approximately 25 loan files during a regular 40-hour work week. Responsibilities
Open loan files received from Loan Officers, including ordering appraisals, credit reports, employment verification, surveys, and title commitments. Monitor and complete a number and variety of documents to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant loan files. Regularly communicate with loan originators, real estate agents, and borrowers throughout the underwriting process to keep them informed of loan status. Provide quality service to customers, realtors, correspondents, loan officers, and other Bank personnel. Track loans in process to ensure file status and deadlines are met. Review closing documents prior to closing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations and any lender requirements. Requirements / Qualifications
