Credit Analyst II Position Summary

The Credit Analyst II develops and analyzes all types of credit information. This position independently prepares complete loan packages for mid to large size loans, completes all documents (including projections), prepares analyses, and makes the appropriate recommendations. The Credit Analyst II also assists with the preparation of larger and more complex loan packages along with assisting Loan Officers or Senior Credit Analysts as requested. Benefits

Assist loan officers in the approval of credit and ensure proper risk rating per bank policy. Make recommendations as to the inherent risks of extending credit to each customer. Evaluate risks associated with loan applications. Analyze financial information, such as statements, management accounts, and cash flow statements. Develop models of credit information to predict patterns and trends. Maintain credit financials for proper documentation and to ensure closed files are pulled, stored, and/or destroyed per policy. Prepare written analyses including credit investigation of borrower and guarantors; economic and market conditions; in-depth financial analysis with communication with borrower's accountant; financial projections; analysis of secondary sources of repayment; and guarantor's financial position. Attend loan committee meetings and present loan requests as needed. Participate in customer meetings as requested. Maintain loan files for proper documentation. Requirements

Qualifications for Credit Analyst II Role: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years of credit analyst and/or lending experience. Minimum one year underwriting experience. Skills and Abilities: Strong background or ability to learn principles in risk management. Strong math skills. Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
