Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $105,000 per year. Responsibilities
Reviews customer contracts and billings to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and US GAAP Performs contract analysis under ASC 606/IFRS 15 for revenue recognition accuracy Collaborates with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure non-standard sales agreements Supports M&A activities including accounting due diligence and integration Completes month-end duties such as reconciliations, revenue computations, and trend reviews Requirements
Performs contract reviews and applies industry experience in revenue accounting Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills Utilizes ERP systems such as Oracle and Hyperion and maintains Excel proficiency Works independently and collaboratively with strong project management skills Supports business partners with ad-hoc analysis and technical accounting insights Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience 2+ years of public accounting experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm Maintains a CPA license or has passed all four parts of the CPA exam Demonstrates strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606/IFRS 15 Seniority level
