As a tutor on the platform, you can set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning from home. What You’ll Do
Provide 1-on-1 or on-demand online tutoring in CPA FAR. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Earn base rates starting at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects and for continuing sessions with the same student, up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Use Varsity Tutors’ Live Learning Platform to tutor remotely with no commuting. Be matched with students that fit your teaching style and expertise. Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in CPA FAR with ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Preference given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students
