Staff Accountant Overview We’re seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated
Staff Accountant
with 1–3 years of experience to join our accounting team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, and eager to grow within a collaborative, hands‑on environment.
Responsibilities
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including preparation of supporting schedules.
Analyze and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
Support internal and external audit requests as needed.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and aligned with company objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
Solid understanding of GAAP principles and general ledger accounting.
Strong Excel and analytical skills; experience with ERP systems preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, in‑office environment.
Compensation
Base Salary:
$65,000‑$75,000 + bonus
