For Those Who Work At Home, Ohio The Sr. Risk Analyst is part of the First Line Credit Risk team within the Commercial Bank, responsible for managing and executing credit risk governance, supporting strategy initiatives, and enabling sound, fast-paced business growth. This role involves developing and implementing risk frameworks, maintaining oversight and reporting, and understanding regulatory and industry impacts. The ideal candidate will influence stakeholders, build insightful reporting, and collaborate across teams to enhance portfolio analytics and risk management. General Location : Open to candidates within the United States. Hybrid Requirement

Buffalo, NY , or
Albany, NY , they are expected to work on-site 2 days per week at the nearest KeyBank office (non-branch location).
Remote Option : If the selected candidate lives outside of KeyBank’s geographic footprint, the position will be considered fully remote.
Responsibilities
Support and enhance credit risk governance through reporting, KPIs, benchmarking, and performance monitoring
Conduct high-risk client reviews and participate in cross-functional product and risk forums
Manage credit, operational, and AML/compliance risk across product and client portfolios
Develop and deliver training to promote enterprise risk awareness and escalation processes
Collaborate with internal and external partners to refine credit risk strategies
Create scorecards and ongoing portfolio reporting
Conduct industry research and support lending strategy through analytics
Build understanding of credit risk frameworks across the Commercial Bank
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Sciences, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Mathematics.
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in business analytics, financial modeling,
strategy, or consulting.
Experience in
Excel with an ability to manage large data sets , creating summary views using pivots tables, data graphs/visualizations
Experience creating scorecards and ongoing portfolio reporting
Experience synthesizing, creating and clearly communicate complex topics in PowerPoint
Experience creating dashboards with Tableau
or similar data visualization platforms
Certifications & Licenses
Preferred: Risk certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist)

Data Analysis – Proficient in Excel, Tableau, and data visualization

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
