Our client is recruiting for an experienced
Accountant
to join their team in New York City. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in financial services who thrives in a detail-oriented, collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial records, managing payments, supporting reporting, and ensuring accuracy across our firm’s operations. What You’ll Do Record, organize, and reconcile daily financial transactions Review bank activity, vendor invoices, and set up payments Monitor incoming/outgoing wire releases and perform account reconciliations Manage billing, accounts payable/receivable, and maintain accurate expense allocations Prepare and manage budgets Review and process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements Ensure payments align with contractual obligations Reconcile bank and credit card statements to verify accuracy Prepare daily and monthly financial reports Assist with financial statements, investor reports, and fund/SMA-related data Review NAVs prepared by external administrators for accuracy Monitor fund expenses and payable activity, reviewing payments for approval Support internal/external audits and assist tax consultants with returns Skills 5+ years of accounting experience
(financial services strongly preferred) Proficiency with
QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Must be able to work
onsite in NYC
full-time The base pay range for this role is $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr. Benefits may include medical insurance, vision insurance, and 401(k).
