Our insurance agency is expanding and needs the help of a Life Insurance Agent to grow our list of prospective clients and onboard new clients. We're directly responsible for handling asset protection and Insurance benefit options for Local, regional, and various organizations from Police departments, School boards of education officials, and Multiple Government agencies at the local and state level. Also, our ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to drive sales among existing clients and new clients through a mix of networking, referrals, PR marketing strategies as well as Social Media platforms. Our ideal candidate is great with people, a naturally talented salesperson, and harbors incredible customer service skills and a passion for helping those in need. Responsibilities

Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders

Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio

Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs

Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals

Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs

Qualifications

High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus

Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed

Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful

Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office

Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole

Compensation $60,000 - $72,000 yearly
