OneStream Architect
to design, develop, and implement enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions that optimize the full potential of OneStream’s unified financial platform.
This position can be based in Hartsville, SC or Charlotte, NC with a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities
Design scalable and robust OneStream solutions to meet business requirements.
Develop architecture strategies for financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting using OneStream XF.
Collaborate with key subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical and functional specifications.
Ensure the alignment of solutions with organizational goals as well as compliance and control standards.
Implementation & Development
Lead the end-to-end implementation of OneStream projects, including system configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.
Develop complex business rules, workflows, and dashboards in OneStream to optimize financial processes.
Create and maintain data models, dimensions, and hierarchies within the platform.
Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for OneStream and provide guidance to development teams and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of solutions.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical training on OneStream features and best practices.
Maintain a knowledge base of OneStream’s development roadmap and give guidance to Finance and IT leadership on planned technology features that may offer added value.
Testing & Support
Conduct system testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization for OneStream applications.
Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of designing and implementing OneStream XF solutions. A track record of several successful implementations is essential.
Strong knowledge of financial processes, including consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in OneStream XF platform, including configuration, business rules, workflows, and dashboards.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with integration tools and techniques, such as APIs and ETL processes.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
OneStream Architect certification is highly desirable.
Professional designation in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or Project Management is a plus.
Experience with other EPM tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, or Anaplan).
Advanced data manipulation skills using Excel, SQL, and Visual Basic.
Knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, or GAAP.
Experience / Knowledge of SDLC, SOX and IT General Control / compliance requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills.
