New graduate registered nurses or nurses transitioning to a different level of care can immerse themselves in their new career as a Nurse Resident. As a Nurse Resident, you will work with a preceptor and educator as you progress to full, independent practice. You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on the patient care plan and keep a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment in accordance with the plan. The above summary of accountabilities is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive. Responsibilities
