Senior Human Resources Manager – Texas Region
Pay range : $80,000 – $100,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Responsibilities
Act as the primary HR partner for departmental managers, providing coaching, guidance, and solutions for day‑to‑day HR matters.
Serve as the frontline leader for employee relations investigations, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation cases.
Conduct on‑site visits to ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Build strong relationships across branches to foster trust, consistency, and accountability.
Support execution of strategic initiatives, including:
Mergers & acquisitions integration of employees, benefits, and culture.
Designing and rolling out a company‑wide benefit program.
Implementing and standardizing HR policies and procedures across all locations.
Driving change management efforts in an acquisition‑driven environment.
Maintain HRIS accuracy and leverage system reporting to support decision‑making.
Lead investigations into workplace issues, documenting findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local labor regulations
across multiple jurisdictions.
Support
union awareness
and response efforts, in partnership with leadership, where applicable.
Manage unemployment, workers' compensation claims, and leave administration.
Lead the new hire onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition into the company with consistent processes.
Provide coaching to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement.
Regularly review and help design HR policies to ensure they are up to date and compliant.
Develop and support employee recognition programs to strengthen engagement and retention.
Identify needs for training, compliance education, and employee development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, with at least 3–5 years in a multi‑site or national HR leadership role.
Proven track record in employee relations, investigations, and compliance.
Strongly preferred: Exposure to mergers & acquisitions, benefits implementation, and
union environments .
Ability to partner with executives on strategy while staying engaged in the hands‑on, day‑to‑day HR work.
Excellent problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Organized, adaptable, and resilient in a fast‑paced, acquisition‑driven business.
Travel Travel up to 35% of the time to conduct investigations, support managers, and implement HR programs at local sites.
