Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.03/hr Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026 Shift Type: Part Time hours available Required Certification Level: EMT Required Ski Level: Intermediate Other Specifics: Patrol members operate a variety of tasks in all terrain and weather conditions; must pass an expert level ski patrol test upon hire Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must complete a four-week Pass/Fail ski patrol training program Job Responsibilities
Promote guest safety on varied terrain with varying winter weather conditions Assist injured/ill guests on the mountain and administer first aid Transport injured guests off the mountain Maintain trails, identify hazards, and manage closures and safety materials Transport supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need Perform closing procedures to ensure all guests are safely off the mountain Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort Policies Chairlift and guest evacuation Operate snowmobiles to various areas of the mountain as needed Other duties as assigned Participate in avalanche mitigation and lift evacuation as applicable Demonstrate basic avalanche rescue skills Transport injured guests on various terrain using appropriate toboggan techniques Job Requirements
Previous patrol experience required Pass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test; capable of skiing all types of terrain under all weather conditions Must be able to communicate fluently in English Must be at least 18 years old Excellent guest service skills Ability to work well in a team Ability to work in inclement mountain weather The role requires further background clearances by the State of Pennsylvania, which must be completed before work begins.
