Budget & Financial Management Analyst – NIWC CSSP

Sentar is seeking a Budget & Financial Management Analyst in Charleston, SC!
Role Description The Budget & Financial Management Analyst supports fiscal oversight, budget formulation, execution, and financial reporting. This position ensures accurate budget tracking, forecasting, and compliance with DoD and Navy financial regulations. The analyst coordinates with leadership and contracting personnel to align budget planning with program goals and mission priorities.
Responsibilities
Support annual budget planning, formulation, and financial execution for CSSP operations.
Monitor and track all task order funding obligations, expenditures, and projections.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial status reports.
Develop cost estimates, spend plans, and variance analysis for leadership review.
Ensure compliance with Navy and DoD fiscal policies and audit standards.
Collaborate with Program Managers and Contracting Officers to validate funding requirements.
Support audits and data calls related to budget and funding activities.
Qualifications Clearance Level:
Secret
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in DoD or Federal budget execution and management.
Knowledge of DoD financial systems, accounting standards, and appropriation rules.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Navy ERP, PR Builder, or similar systems.
Experience with cost modeling and performance-based budgeting.
Working knowledge of CSSP or cybersecurity financial management.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
