Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting Analyze transactions for accuracy; create, process, and reconcile routine journal entries Monitor and ensure compliance with SOX controls in General Ledger; support accounting data for management and audits Apply defined General Ledger approaches, follow standards and processes; provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders Communicate updates on assigned tasks to the General Ledger Supervisor and senior staff; identify risks and support business development objectives Assist with developing and implementing metrics to manage business risks and improve decision making Analyze historical data to identify trends and contribute to reports communicating insights for Finance and the organization Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance General Ledger delivery and support process automation Assist with system integrations (e.g., SAP) to streamline operations Promote a culture of transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence Qualifications
Required Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting Experience with Financial Systems/SAP preferred Experience with Microsoft tools and applications required Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and project management skills Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job Ability to exercise judgment with little direction but know when to escalate to the General Ledger Supervisor Knowledge of GAAP and Internal Control processes Team-oriented with the ability to present ideas respectfully Licenses and Certifications
CPA or meets the requirements to sit for the CPA exam preferred Key Competencies
