Overview
DRMP's Accounting Team is seeking a Project Accountant to join their growing division. This position is ideal for someone who can combine their love of numbers with strong attention to detail, communication, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize the needs of multiple Engineers/Project Managers.

Responsibilities
Set up new projects and manage monthly revenue recognition
Compile and analyze project financial reports to assist Project Managers (PMs) in achieving profitability goals
Coordinate with PMs on monthly project reviews, including accurate revenue recognition, billing, budgeting, Estimates to Complete (ETCs), and accounts receivable (AR)
Verify employee time and expenses for accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and billing policies
Maintain project-related documentation in Deltek Vision, including contracts, supplemental agreements, task orders, and other key records
Conduct contract review and support contract management throughout the project lifecycle
Communicate effectively with PMs regarding contract terms, modifications, approvals, and additional services impacting revenue and billing
Collaborate with PMs, clients, subconsultants, and internal departments to ensure timely invoicing, payments, and responses to financial or contractual inquiries
Perform additional tasks and assignments as directed by the Director and/or Project Accounting Manager
What you'll need
3+ years of professional experience in Project Accounting
Experience working with a construction, engineering firm or within Transportation
Deltek Vision/VantagePoint experience
Solid computer skills with experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (preferred)
