Part-Time Retail Banker – Clinton, AR
First Security Bank is hiring a professional, energetic Retail Banker to serve our Arkansas community. This is a part‑time role requiring on‑site presence at the Clinton location.
Summary Under the guidance of a training manager, you will process customer transactions via personal contact, mail and night deposit. You will become proficient in identifying customer needs, explaining financial products and resolving customer issues. You will cross‑train in specialist duties such as opening new accounts, direct deposit, retirement accounts and providing efficient, quality customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED (required).
1–2 years of post‑secondary education and/or cash handling, customer service, relevant banking experience preferred.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, typing, 10‑key and internet use required.
Willingness to demonstrate Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to work.
Hours Regularly scheduled: 29 hours or less per week.
Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
(extended hours may be required).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, issue cashier’s checks and handle cash checks, ensuring proper identification and compliance with retail policies.
Examine deposited checks, determine funds availability, identify counterfeit currency and refer customers to other bank services as needed.
Visually review customer transactions, verify necessary information and maintain accurate records.
Balance cash using the retail platform, count and sell currency to the vault, and scan proof of work.
Receive mortgage, consumer, and other loan payments; promote bank services and cross‑sell products.
Adhere to opening and closing procedures, maintain security protocols, and secure coins and currency.
Assist with night deposits, mail deposits and ATM deposits.
Complete Currency Transaction Report (CTR) and Suspicious Activity reports (SIRF) as required.
Resolve retail outages and assist internal customers and executive management as needed.
Operate computer software, telephone, scanner and copier proficiently.
Attend retail training classes and complete additional tasks assigned by management.
Additional Development
Gain specialized Retail Banking Specialist skills such as processing debit cards, updating customer information, and handling account maintenance issues.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
