Overview
As a Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst II you will be responsible for enhancing portfolio credit risk management objectives through delivery of data, reporting, and analytic projects that increase visibility into the Bank's portfolio of loans, leases, deposits and other services. You will have production responsibilities as well as ad hoc or project-based work, and you will reduce risk by identifying, monitoring and assessing KRIs/KPIs, producing standard or ad hoc analysis, and reporting on portfolio segments. You will become a subject matter expert for one or more activities and monitor segments for performance, data accuracy, and process improvements, while complying with SOX controls, the Bank's RCSA framework, and internal or external audit requirements. What You'll Do
Support Credit Portfolio leadership in creating or using database objects, reporting tools, or other Bank-approved technology; propose improvements to processes, gain approvals, document, and implement upgrades. Partner with IT and Business Data Governance as required. Complete assigned projects, which may be individual or team-based, including acquiring new data sources, defining transformations, loading data, writing load scripts, and testing. Independently frame requirements for moderately complex data and business processes. Develop reporting dashboards and monitor concentration limits, KRIs, RCSA, or other projects. Apply technical expertise to address complex projects, manage a pipeline of data, reporting, and process-related projects, identify road blocks, and execute within designated time frames. Participate in the development of policies, procedures, methodologies and training; collaborate with the Credit Administration group and cross-functionally on projects. What You'll Need
3+ years of related experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar field. Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services. Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. Intermediate knowledge of commercial credit-related disciplines with experience with a variety of lending products and segments. Intermediate ability to independently problem solve, adapt to changing priorities, act with urgency, and deliver on diverse projects. Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills. Data Science / Data Analytics Certificate, CFA, CPA, CAIA, or CRM Certification preferred. Occasional travel required. Benefits You’ll Love
