Bell & Company, P.A. is seeking a Staff Accountant with 1–3 years of recent public accounting experience to join our Conway office. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, mid-sized firm. Base pay range
$55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state tax returns (990, 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 5500) in UltraTax Prepare tax projections, payroll tax reports, and sales/use tax filings Process payroll and assist with 1099s/W-2s Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Provide client services and administrative support as needed Stay current with CPE requirements and tax law updates Contribute to firm culture through collaboration and lifetime learning Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 1–3 years of recent experience in public accounting required Strong knowledge of tax regulations, bookkeeping, and accounting software Proficiency in the use of computer tax preparation, research, and tax planning software programs Excellent judgment, time management, and communication skills CPA license preferred, or willingness to work toward licensure (company benefits available) Why Bell & Company?
