The Claims Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the management of the Fleet Vehicle Safety & Operations Policy for DPR (and DPR related entities) across the US, as well as handling first and third-party auto physical damage and low severity property damage claims under the supervision of DPR’s Insured Claims Manager. Specific Duties Include
Claims & Incident Management:
Initial processing of auto and property damage incidents, including reporting, reviewing, and maintaining incident records. Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and assess claims. Report claims to insurance policies, analyze risk transfer opportunities, and liaise with carriers and repair shops. Manage claims within DPR’s RMIS system and provide necessary incident information. Act as a liaison with carriers, repair shops, and internal teams regarding claim progress and settlements. Notify relevant authorities of accidents when required. Fleet Vehicle Safety & Operations Policy Management
Manage driver risk scores and training assignments based on incidents and MVRs. Maintain current authorized driver lists and liaise with HR and operational teams for policy updates. Key Skills
Strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to mentor, inspire, and work collaboratively. Knowledge of auto insurance, liability, property insurance, and risk management. Qualifications
At least five years of relevant insurance industry experience. Previous auto claims management experience preferred.
