Overview
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects CPC (Certified Professional Coder) tutors with students nationwide for online, flexible tutoring. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you can set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and influence students’ learning journeys from home. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students. Accept on-demand Instant Tutoring requests when available. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in CPC and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation and Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects and higher pay for ongoing sessions with the same student (up to $40/hour). Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time.
