As a Community Manager, you will provide leadership and management direction on behalf of the Board of Directors and FirstService Residential. This position oversees the operations of the community, adheres to the mission and vision of the Board, and serves as the single point of contact for the community. The Community Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, legal compliance, and staff oversight within the association. Work Schedule

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with weekend shifts on a rotating basis with other team members. Your Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction in the development of short-term and long-range plans; develop recommendations for goals and action plans to achieve Board objectives; lead annual goal setting. Review organization structure, job descriptions, and functions; make recommendations to the Board on potential changes. Partner with public, private, and volunteer organizations to provide community services when necessary. Support the activities of the various Board sub-committees. Maintain knowledge of all Governing documents; provide recommendations on revisions. Maintain a seamless connection between the Board of Directors and committees. Provide community leadership to address homeowners’ needs or desires; create or implement annual working budgets subject to Board approval; monitor monthly financial position. Provide leadership to meetings involving the Board of Directors, including agenda support and reports; summarize priorities and follow up. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all community staff in accordance with the documented management plan. Collaborate with local emergency organizations to maintain emergency and evacuation plans as appropriate. Confer with other departments and outside agencies; identify, develop, and implement programs to meet community needs; assess and improve service delivery and programs. Attend professional group meetings; stay abreast of trends in community management and programming. Maintain on-site visibility throughout common areas and facilities. Ensure adherence to master calendars, maintenance calendars, budgets, and subsidy programs; review policies to ensure compliance with civil codes and governing requirements. Perform building inspections and develop action plans for opportunities; ensure due diligence for protection of client funds and assets. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality, or Construction; or an equivalent education/experience combination. State-specific certifications or licenses are preferable or required as applicable. Seven years of community management experience or equivalent experience, including at least four years managing staff with diverse expertise. Management experience in a small or medium-sized organization with responsibility for multiple departments preferred. Understanding of physical building management, Condominium law, financial planning, and property management regulations. Valid Driver’s License and state-mandated vehicle insurance. Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, ARM, AMS or equivalent designations; valid CMCA certification. Physical Requirements / Working Environment

Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 25 lbs, and walking around properties; may require climbing stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively by phone and in person; keyboard proficiency required. Must be able to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; work may be indoors or outdoors with varying conditions. Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions; maintain safety, health, and environmental awareness. What We Offer
